Neurotoxin injectables work by temporarily relaxing the small facial muscles responsible for dynamic wrinkles, the lines that form from frowning, squinting or raising your eyebrows. By reducing that movement, treated areas appear smoother while your face keeps its natural ability to express emotion. Wrinkles caused by lost volume or sun exposure are a different problem, usually addressed with dermal fillers or skin treatments rather than neurotoxins.

What to do after your appointment

After treatment we recommend avoiding rubbing or massaging the treated area for several hours, staying upright rather than lying down and skipping strenuous exercise for the rest of the day. These simple precautions help the product stay where it was placed. We walk you through personalized aftercare at the end of your appointment based on the areas treated.

What is BOTOX® Cosmetic and how does it work?
BOTOX® Cosmetic is a prescription neurotoxin injectable that temporarily relaxes the small facial muscles responsible for expression lines.
